The MAXION BS 36 GL is a column tapping machine with a lead screw for gauge-accurate M5–M30 threads, a safety device against tool breakage and electronic motor braking for single or continuous cycles. Threads up to 90 mm deep, up to 800 threads per hour, 5 speed steps in two versions — up to 440 or up to 880 rpm, MT 4 taper, 300 mm throat, 1.2 kW, 385 kg. Lead screws for the required thread pitches are agreed in the quotation.
