TRtech Procut and NARGESA C CNC hydraulic guillotine shears: cutting lengths from 2030 to 6100 mm, mild steel up to 25 mm.
A guillotine cuts sheet in a straight line: the upper blade passes along the lower one at a slight angle and shears off a strip in one stroke. When the contour is straight and no holes are needed, it is the fastest and cheapest way to cut blanks. The catalog carries Turkish TRtech Procut shears, made by OSM Makina: 18 models in three cutting lengths — 3100, 4100 and 6100 mm — and six thickness classes, from 6 to 25 mm in mild steel.
| Cutting length | Mild steel | Stainless steel | Power | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3100 mm | 6–25 mm | 4–17 mm | 11–45 kW | 8–23 t |
| 4100 mm | 6–25 mm | 4–17 mm | 11–45 kW | 10.5–30 t |
| 6100 mm | 6–25 mm | 4–17 mm | 22–45 kW | 26–58 t |
Length and thickness are chosen separately: a 6-metre machine comes both in a 6 mm and in a 25 mm version. Weight, however, grows steeply — from 8 t on the lightest Procut to 58 t on the heaviest — and that is a question of the floor, the foundation and the crane for installation.
All the TRtech Procut have a variable rake angle: the angle is set for the sheet thickness. The Spanish NARGESA C2006 CNC and C3006 CNC have a fixed 1.75° angle: 2030 and 3055 mm cutting length, steel up to 6 mm, stainless up to 4 mm, a 700 mm back gauge, 5.1 and 7.5 t.
A guillotine is cheaper to run: no gas, no optics and no source to pay for, and a strip is sheared in a single stroke. But it cuts only a straight line, leaves a small burr and twists narrow strips slightly. A laser machine cuts any contour with holes and without distortion, but it costs more and loses on speed in plain strip cutting. In many shops the two work together: the guillotine divides the sheet into blanks and the laser cuts parts out of them.
Send the material, thickness, sheet size and the number of cuts per shift — we will select the model, the rake angle and the handling system, and cost delivery, installation and training. After cutting, blanks are usually bent: how to choose a press is covered in “How to choose a press brake”, and the models are in the press brakes section. If the sheet has to be rolled into a shell, you need plate rolls.

Shears are rated for a given cutting force. Stainless steel is stronger than mild steel, so the same thickness needs more force and the maximum thickness comes out lower. On the Procut you can see it in the pairs: 10 and 6 mm, 16 and 10 mm, 25 and 17 mm.
A small angle means a flatter strip and less twist but more force; a large angle is the opposite. In practice thin sheet is cut closer to 0.3° and thick sheet at 2–3°. The angle on the Procut is adjustable, so it is set for each thickness.
The catalog has only hydraulic CNC shears. Hydraulics give a smooth stroke, an adjustable rake angle and overload protection, and the control stores cutting programs — more convenient for repeat work than a mechanical drive.
The price depends on the cutting length, thickness, configuration and delivery terms, so it is not listed on the site. Send a request and we will prepare a quotation including delivery, installation and training.
The grade and thickness of the metal, the sheet size, the longest cut, the strip width, the number of cuts per shift and the floor area available. From this we select the model and the handling system.
