MAXION MAXTAPtapping machine
The MAXION MAXTAP is a programmable unit for cutting and forming threads, installing thread inserts and checking finished threads. Torque is monitored against upper and lower limits, so a defective thread shows up within the cycle; a part counter is standard. Threads M1–M18 in 9SMn28 steel depending on the G5, G8, G14 or G16 version, 100–3,000 rpm, B10 or B12 taper, 230 V supply. We choose the version from the smallest and largest thread on your part.
