The MG M-ME-ML 2020 C is a four-roll plate roll for shells from plate up to 2,050 mm wide: the plate passes between two driven centre rolls while the side rolls set the radius. There are three versions: M with side rolls on planetary guides and torsion-bar parallelism, ME with electronic parallelism, and ML with linear guides for small diameters. It rolls plate up to 20 mm thick and pre-bends edges up to 14 mm; Ø280 mm top roll, power 10 kW, weight 5 t. We discuss NC or CNC control from the start: MG considers its four-roll design well suited to it.
