The MG M-ME-ML 3140 V is a four-roll plate roll for shells from plate up to 3,100 mm wide: the plate passes between two driven centre rolls while the side rolls set the radius. This lets you pre-bend the edge and roll the whole blank in one direction in a single pass. It rolls plate up to 140 mm thick and pre-bends edges up to 110 mm; Ø870 mm top roll, Ø810 mm side rolls, power 130 kW, weight 180 t. MG gives its table figures as indicative, so for a specific shell we check thickness and radius against the material.
