NARGESA CC60 CNC and CC90 CNC mandrel-less tube benders: steel tube up to Ø60.3 and Ø90 mm, angles up to 180° by program.
A tube bender wraps the tube around a former in one movement, producing an elbow of constant radius, and with a CNC the angle is programmed, so every bend in a batch is the same. This is how frames, handrails, fences and pipework parts are made.
The catalog carries the NARGESA CC60 CNC and CC90 CNC. Both bend without a mandrel up to 180°, with a minimum radius of three tube diameters. The CC60 takes steel tube up to Ø60.3 mm, aluminium 60.3×8 mm, stainless 60.3×3 mm and square 40×40×4 mm, with radii up to 320 mm. The CC90 takes steel up to Ø90 mm, aluminium 88.9×10 mm, stainless 88.9×4 mm, square 60×60×4 mm and radii up to 390 mm.
The maximum diameter does not mean any wall: for steel tube we check the thickness, the material strength and the radius. If the radius is large or variable, or a ring is needed, that is a job for a three-roll profile bending machine. How to compare them is covered on the profile bending machines.
| Model | Steel tube | Square tube | Radius up to | Power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NARGESA CC60 CNC | 60.3 mm | 40 × 40 × 4 mm | 320 mm | 1.1 kW |
| NARGESA CC90 CNC | 90 mm | 60 × 60 × 4 mm | 390 mm | 2.2 kW |
A mandrel supports the wall from inside and is needed on thin-wall tube at a small radius. The CC CNC bend without one at radii from three tube diameters: for such a radius and wall a mandrel is usually unnecessary, and changeover is simpler.
