The Palmary PC-12S-NC is Palmary's smallest NC centerless grinder: a touch display, a Mitsubishi FX3U-32MR PLC and lubricant temperature control. The regulating wheel is driven by a 1.5 kW servo motor at 10–300 rpm, and the Ø305 mm grinding wheel runs at 33 m/s. The alloy-steel spindles are normalized, aged, heat-treated and sub-zero treated; the wheel spindle is lubricated automatically and the slideways centrally. Feeding parts into the grinding zone, by hand or with a loader, is discussed to suit your volume.
