The Palmary PC-18S-NC is a centerless grinder with NC control: servo motors drive the regulating wheel and the lower slide feed, parameters are entered on a conversational touchscreen, and a Mitsubishi PLC runs the logic. It grinds by through-feed and in-feed. Ø1–80 mm grinding range, 455×205×228 mm grinding wheel, 11.2 kW motor, regulating wheel driven by a 3 kW servo motor at 10–300 rpm. The wheel, its dressing and coolant are agreed to suit the material and batch.
