The Palmary GU42x150S is an economy GU S series cylindrical grinder for long shafts: up to 1,500 mm between centres and up to Ø400 mm. The wheel spindle runs in a hydrostatic bearing, and the workhead is driven by a 2 kW servo motor. 1,560 mm table stroke, table swivel −3°…+7°, up to 150 kg on the centres, 10–300 rpm work speed, 4,300 kg. The wheel, its dressing and coolant are agreed to suit the material and batch.
