The TRtech Procut-4016 is a hydraulic variable-rake guillotine shear for sheet up to 4,100 mm long. The upper and lower blades have four cutting edges each, the back gauge runs on a ball screw, and control is by a Cybelec Touch 8 CNC. Steel up to 16 mm, stainless up to 10 mm, 0.3–2.3° rake, 6–10 strokes per minute, 20 holddowns, 1,000 mm gauge, 45 kW, 24,500 kg. The rake angle is matched to the thickness: a smaller angle means less twist and bow in the strip, a larger one is needed for thick plate.
