The MEP SHARK 281 is a manual band saw with 0°…+60° mitre cutting, which MEP calls its best-selling model. The saw head, table and vice are cast iron (G25 frame) to damp vibration, and the blade guides have adjustable carbide pads. Cutting at 0°: Ø250 mm, 230 mm square or 280×200 mm; at +45°: Ø190 mm; at +60°: Ø120 mm. Blade 2,950×27×0.9 mm, 36/72 m/min, 1.5 kW, 370 kg. For mitre cuts, we check the workpiece section against the cutting table before quoting.
