The Weiler Commodor 180 VCD is a Commodor-series production lathe with a frequency converter: speed is set steplessly with a potentiometer, the current value is shown on a digital indicator, and the VCD readout holds a constant cutting speed. Ø380 mm swing over bed, 1,000 mm between centres, 7.5 kW, 25–2,000 rpm, 56 mm spindle bore, MK 4 quill, DIN 8605.
