The MG G-GE-GL 3055 H is a three-roll hydraulic plate roll for shells and cones from plate up to 3,100 mm wide. In the GL version the side rolls travel on an oblique linear axis with a narrower centre distance, allowing smaller diameters with shorter flat ends. Maximum thickness 55 mm, edge pre-bending 40 mm, Ø530 mm top and Ø500 mm side rolls, 60 kW, weight 30 t. MG rates the thickness for a shell diameter three times the top-roll diameter, so we check tighter radii at full thickness separately.
