The FPS 620M-NC is a milling and drilling machine with Siemens 840D sl or Heidenhain TNC 620 FS CNC and an X travel extended to 620 mm; mechanical handwheels on all axes remain for manual work. Table 820×420 mm, X/Y/Z travels 620/350/400 mm, and with the 150 mm head offset the X/Y area is 620×500 mm; 7 kW, 340 Nm, 0–4,500 rpm, 5,000 mm/min rapid traverse, approx. 1,800 kg. We choose the CNC system based on where programs will be prepared: at the machine or in CAM.
