KSP PAW agitation baths: parts soak in a continuously circulated solution — loads of 400–1000 kg and tanks up to 1900 l.
Some contamination cannot be knocked off with a jet and will not dissolve within a short cycle: old carbon, baked-on oil, thick deposits. The part is then immersed in a bath of hot solution and left there, while the solution is circulated so that the dirt does not settle back onto the metal. It is the slower but gentlest method — the geometry of the part is not affected.
The catalog carries the PAW series: the KSP PAW400 for 400 kg with an 800 l tank, the PAW800 for 800 kg and 1200 l, and the KSP PAW1000 for 1000 kg and 1900 l, all heated to 80 °C with 32 kW. The PAW PLUS version is fully automatic.
If the dirt is fresh, a cabinet washer or a multi-stage system will do it faster and cheaper. For carbon and rust there is blast cleaning. How to compare washing equipment is covered on the washing machines.

From tens of minutes to several hours, depending on how old the dirt is, on temperature and on the chemistry. That is why a bath is taken as an addition to a fast washer rather than instead of it: the difficult parts soak while the rest go through the normal cycle.
