Classic barbed wire or EGOZA

These are two different products and two different machines. The Demirci UDB1 makes classic barbed wire: two strands are twisted together and barbs of the same 1.2–2.7 mm wire are wound onto them at regular intervals. Output is 800–1000 metres per hour, and power only 2.2 kW.

Over a shift that works out at 6400–8000 metres in eight hours. The wire range is the same for the core and for the barbs — 1.2–2.7 mm — so one coil size covers the machine rather than two different ones.

Spiral razor wire of the EGOZA type is a different technology: a steel strip with blades is clamped around a core wire and coiled into a spiral. That needs an EGOZA line, not this machine. Compare the data sheets: the UDB1 gives 800–1000 m/h at 2.2 kW, while EGOZA lines give 130–300 kg/h at 14–19 kW.

By size and supply this is the lightest machine in the section: 380 V, 2.2 kW, two-year warranty — it can be added to an existing weaving machine to widen the price list. Neighbouring lines are chain link and hexagonal netting; the full line-up is in the wire processing section.
