Coiling wire into rolls

Demirci MFDC2 lays wire into a rosette coil: the axis tilts through 0–90° so the turns lie evenly rather than in a heap. The maximum coil weight is 1200 kg, wire 1.1–4.1 mm, at 250 kg/h and only 1.1 kW. It is neither a weaving machine nor a line but a supporting link: it brings finished wire into a form that is convenient to transport and to feed into the next machine.

The 0–90° axis tilt is what makes the rosette: the axis is set at an angle so each turn lies as a layer instead of dropping onto the previous one. A 1200 kg coil is already a load for a forklift, so the space for the pallet is planned with access and somewhere to take the finished coil.

Its obvious partner is the PVC coating line: the pallet’s 250 kg/h exactly matches the output of the FDE3-45. For the larger versions of the line — 350 and 450 kg/h — the coiling rate has to be worked out separately: one pallet will not keep up.
